09.20.2012 GROUND COMMUNICATIONS OUTLET
In an effort to provide more ammenities for our users, as well as more convenience, installation is now complete of a brand new Ground Communications Outlet (GCO) on-field at the Winchester Municipal Airport. It's now easier than ever to pick up (or cancel) your IFR clearance on the ground at our airport. Simply tune 121.725 into your radio, key the mic four times slowly, and you'll be connected with Memphis Center! This now eliminates the need to be airborne, as well as the requirement of using your cell phone, to pick up a clearance. Everything can now be accomplished from the comfort of your cockpit using your own radio. If you would like more information on this device and how to utilize it, please feel free to contact us at (931) 967-3148.

03.21.2012 WINCHESTER MUNICIPAL AIRPORT WEBCAM
We have completed the installation and setup of a new web camera on the north side of our terminal building. This camera is available for viewing 24 hours a day, and gives an image of our ramp, the north end of the airfield, as well as current weather conditions that exist. The camera currently updates every 15 seconds automatically, so your image always stays fresh. Visit the Weather tab at the top of our website to view the camera or simply click here!
